I love candy! So much I own a store half full of it, the other half being beads. I am a 31 year old married woman, have three children, am a military veteran and a servant of The Lord. Anything I do, should be for Him. I've got to give Him credit for all of my accomplishments.
Here I am with my sista
Annette on her wedding day.
A highlight of 2008! She has vowed to
reach healthy status with me.
I have been lacking motivation, determination and endurance in this race of life the last 6 months and it is time to get back on course. I evaluated things a few weeks ago. My skin was showing sure signs of improper nutrition. I found myself feeling angry and this high level of anxiety. Then, to top things off I stepped on the scale to see I had gained 6 lbs since November 1st, 2008. I've started this blog as a result of pure inspiration received from a dear friend who recently started her own blog. She certainly is motivating! Thanks K-Co.
Friendships keep me alive! And I find that friendships founded in Gods Love are everlasting! It all goes back to Him, see! I am blessed with a wonderful immediate family as well. Thanks Mom, Dad, Cheri, Hil, Les, John, Gregory and children.
So, why I began this blog again? (you'll notice this is going to be all over the place and not very well organized!) I need a forum to post what I eat, what I do and how I am feeling. Being that a blog can be accessed by anyone, I know that I will be more accountable knowing my daily activities can be viewed by anybody and everybody. I am just putting it all out there!
It is a tool I am going to use to become healthier: physically, mentally and spiritually.
I welcome your feedback.
Here are a few goals:
1. Provide healthy meals for my family!
2. Be a compassionate and accountable wife and friend!
3. Make faith based decisions, not impulse based!
4. Enjoy my children.
5. Pay off Eat It or Bead It start up debt by October 2009! This includes not eating the merchandise out of impulse! 3 treats a week is plenty! Hold me to it!
Thanks for reading!
