The Best Workout!

Okay, ya'll get your minds out of the gutter with that title! I know what you were thinking.
The best work out I had all week was today. Just my husband and I went for a 6.5 mile walk on this beautiful , crisp, winter day. It took us 1 hr and 52 minutes. We walked from our house to our store talking along the whole way. It was so nice. We had 2 cars at the store yesterday and just left one there last night. So instead of bringing another car there today, we just walked it.
Here is to a wonderful week ahead! Have a fun winter break everyone!

Crisp Morning!

Hello Everyone!
Lack of workouts Wed and Thursday. Yesterday I hit the driveway running and ran right back into the house. It was frigid. SO I ran inside my house up and down stairs for 25 minutes and did situps and pushups.
The interview went okay. They have interviewed 55 people for 1 position. My PT test will be the next step. I am waiting on a date and time for that!
I promised my interviewer I would pass the test. She said it is getting embarassing because they keep sending females for the test and they all fail!
Today it was only 21 degrees out, but I ran anyway, 1.8 miles, and walked 1.8 miles. I was out for 45 minutes. My legs were about frozen when I got home but I fed and watered the animals, got the eggs and brought more firewood inside.
Winter break ahead!
Have a wonderful weekend! Hey A, thanks for the CD's I love Womanizer!

Bad!

Hey All.
I have eaten horribly the last two days AND not worked out. Double whammie! I am having anxiety about the interview Fri. The last two days I have gotten up early to run there has been rain and wind. My only alternative right now is to get the burley down from the upstairs of the shed and push a stroller on the mornings when it doesn't clear up until 8 or 9. I am sorry, but the thought of that only stresses me out.
Good Night

What a nice day!

Hello all! What a nice day. It felt great to get up early and exercise again. I even snuck a 30 minute nap in this afternoon with my sweet girl. I finished my resume! Thanks for everyones input! Then to top it off, I hosted a private beading date for two young people in the budding stages of love. The young man had come in yesterday and requested we open special for him to bring in a girl he had met and wanted to impress. We had sparkling grape juice in wine glasses, chocolate covered potato chips and candles lit all over the place. Each made a cool necklace. They had a great time. Such a nice couple, and it was wonderful to be a part of something like that! He handed over a nice tip as well! Thank-you! I made more in two hours tonight than all day Friday!
So here it is:
46 minute walk/run 3.6 miles
*941 Egg bagel sand w/hot sauce. 1/2 c nf yogurt, 1 c berries

Slacking...excuses...

Okay, so today I got up, it was 42 degrees out, nice, I got ready to go running. Then it started raining and blowing! I fed the animals and pretty much made up my mind that I was definitely not going to brave that for 3 miles+ . Later on, the family and I all went for a walk together, but everybody was pretty much complaning about the weather. It was not a joyous walk, but that's okay, we were together.
2 days without running!

Weekend Remission!

Hello Everyone!
I fell off the "no sugar wagon" after my daughters dance last night. I ran to the store from the dance pushing #3 in a stroller at 830 at night, closed up the shop and headed home! I had some nasty candies and popcorn. I did pretty good for the better part of the day though and did run/walk 43 minutes as well, adding time and distance onto my routine.
Today was much warmer at 7 am, but the wind was fierce. I would rather run at 16 degrees(yesterday) with no wind than at 32 degrees with a strong wind.
Today history was made at Eat It or Bead It though! It was our best day ever in sales! Thank-you Lord!
I did wake up late with my family this morning and did the beloved Dance burn /pilates 50 minute routine. \
Maybe I will aim to run every other day? And once it is nice enough out, I can bike each day I am not running. Maybe throw in a swim once a week, my dream.
Another change: I am only going to journal my food Mon-Thursday. That is 4 out of 7 days. I just don't want to think about it the other three days!
Alrighty!! Have a great rest of your weekend!

Much better!

Today I woke up feeling much better! But unfortunately I woke up late and again, it was 3 degrees outside, so definitely no running. If it is again that cold tomorrow, then I will have to submit to the work-out video once again.
Thank goodness my Moms surgery went well. She looked great tonight and was in good spirits!
Business was better today than most weekdays so I have that to be thankful for as well. I was also able to pay over 800.00 towards the debt this month as well. I pray it stays on track!
So now for food and moves:

6 degrees outside.

I awoke bright and early and ready to run until I came downstairs to see the thermometer read 6 degrees. No way!
Felling very nautious today, I don't know if it is this flu, which has me on the verge of a purge or the Acai berry supplement. So I did not take the Acai today. I just wish to feel better

0955: 1 c LF cottage cheese w/1 banana, 1 Eng muffin w/low sugar straw jam

Today Was The Day To Resume Running

Yes, today was the day. I laid in bed until 0552 and told myself to get up and hit the road. The treadmill deal did not go through, so I must continue as I always have. Which I did! I quickly eased out 1.5 miles and took it down to a walk for the huge hill ahead of me. I again picked up the pace once I reached the top of the hill. All in all I did about 3 miles and ran/walked for 34 minutes total. Not a huge accomplishment, but a start and it felt good. I felt great all day.
Oh, good news: weight was 145, 1.5 lbs down from last week!
6:03-6:37 run/walk
Situps and pushups
1000 1 bowl crockpot apple oatmeal
1215 1 English muffin/egg sandwhich w/hotsauce, 1/2 fresh mango
300 14 Fit and Active wheat thins, 3 pieces spinach/artichoke jack cheese
330 1 c decaff coffee w/skim milk and sugar
545 1 1/2 bowls homemade chicken soup (and I literally mean, the chicken was homeraised here as well :^)) w/two large slices homemade wheat/white bread, one with honey.
Big piece chocolate cake!
I see it is supposed to be 11 degrees out tomorrow morning, but I DO plan on running!!
You'll know IF I did, tomorrow night!
LoL

1 Feb's Food and Move's

Turned out to be a pretty nice day with the exception of a sick little girl on hand. I started the day with an hours worth of outdoor work between the livestock and the wood hauling
.
1015 1 onion bagel w/egg and hot sauce. 1/2c nonfat plain yogurt w/1/2 berries
200 1 1./2 c salad with sprinkle of cheese and raspberry spray dressing. 14 baby carrots.
630 1 small steak wrapped in bacon, green beans, peas, 1 crescent roll, mashed potatoes and a huge piece of chocolate cake AND a dark chocolate football sucker. :^)

That was one heavy dinner! Phew. I felt it justified though since we missed the super bowl party at our friends where I KNOW I would've eaten twice the amount of salt and carbs than I did. Plus when I got home from the store. I ran around the house in snow gear with sicky licky in the sled which was tied around my waist. The kids and I also built a snow couple. We were out for only 30 minutes, but it was so refreshing!
